Raped By 15 Separate Men

The press headline of "raped by 15 different men" is a deliberately sensationalised headline of the CPS QC opening statement, in which he incorrectly states "sexually assaulted by 6 and raped by 9".

HRH Lorraine-Smith corrected the CPS Barrister's reference to '15 men' as misleading, but this was in sentencing after the trial.

This incorrect statement was in reference to the number of men thought to have been present during four separate incidents. This is not the number of men who had sexually assaulted Jemma or the number of men accused by Jemma; which is three.

The Ministry of Justice allow prisoners who maintain their innocence to use the internet through a third party to make serious representations about their innocence. Jemma Beale was wrongly convicted of perjury and perverting the course of justice on 6th July 2017 and received a 10 year prison sentence. Murderers and child killers have received shorter sentences.
