CCTV Of "People Approaching And Going" From Scene

The alley were Jemma was sexually assaulted, as detailed in the 'first account' statement to the first Police officer attending the scene, is next to the Hounslow Medical Centre and this incident is referred to as "the medical centre incident", one of the charges against Shahzad.

The medical centre had two cameras on the front of the building; (1) one covering the car park and whose footage was used by the CPS; the other (2) covering part of the car park and beyond, down Ede Close towards Wellington Road.

It is this part of Ede Close towards Wellington Road where the alley the assault happened is located, along with numerous entrance and exit points, all out of site of the camera footage (1) used by the CPS in Court. There is another camera on another building covering this important viewpoint, but it was not active due to a powercut.

Footage from camera (2) was not used in Court, because the vision was blocked by trees and bushes.

DS Lynott states the following when interviewing Jemma:

"There’s also footage showing across towards the Ede Close direction towards Wellington Road, which is obscured largely by trees and bushes but it shows people approaching and going and we obviously see approaching what we believe to be your Mum".

Jemma's Mother and Father were looking for Jemma after she had been assaulted. If the camera could see Mum and other people approaching and going, why was it not scrutinised to see if any of the people "approaching and going" were the men that assaulted Jemma?

Missing Eight Minutes

There is a gap of 8 minutes between the end of CCTV footage of Jemma leaving the pub car park and when first seen in CCTV footage from the medical centre, located 100 yards from the pub car park.

The medical centre car park is located next to the alley where Jemma was assaulted.

The CCTV shows her hiding in the medical centre car park after she was sexually assaulted.

CCTV Of Crotch Grabbing

CCTV was used in evidence showing Jemma arguing and fighting with Noam Shahzad inside a pub. Jemma claims he grabbed her crotch, the reason for the fight and first of the two charges against Shahzad, but the CPS state it cannot be seen on the CCTV footage and as such did not happen.

Immediately before the fight, the CCTV view of Shahzad's and his hands is blocked by the body of another individual. His hands cannot be seen at all times.
